The center "Siberia-Hokkaido" in partnership with NSUACE (Sibstrin) invites you to take part in the online seminar "Work in the field of design and architecture in a Japanese company". The event will take place on February 27, 20201 (Saturday) from 4 pm to 5.30 pm Novosibirsk time. The purpose of the seminar is training and selection of personnel for the development of cooperation between Siberia and Hokkaido. The speaker of the seminar, an alumnus form Novosibirsk, who has worked for a Japanese company for several years, will speak about all the nuances and requirements for coming to Japan for internship and practice period, applying for a job, as well as about everyday life and language barrier.

Contribution of NSUACE (Sibstrin) to the development of productive Russian-German cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany within the framework of the Russian-German Year of Scientific and Educational Partnerships (2018-2020), with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, as well as coordinators of the Year – the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" (NUST "MISIS") (from the Russian side) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) as well as the German House of Science and Innovation (DWIH) in Moscow (from the German parties) in the spring of the ongoing year held an open Russian-German competition "Russia and Germany: scientific and educational bridges". Its goal was to popularize, strengthen and promote the development of existing ones and the formation of new partnerships between representatives of the scientific and educational communities of Russia and Germany.

The 4th meeting of the International Consortium of Architecture and Civil Engineering Universities and the Presidential Forum - BRAUIC 2020 with the participation of NSUACE (Sibstrin)

On October 30, 2020, the 4th meeting of the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium and the Presidential Forum, BRAUIC 2020, took place. The events were held online under the chairmanship of the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and architecture (PRC) and the engineering school Yncréa Hauts-de-France (France). The rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yuri Skolubovich took part in the working meeting of the BRAUIC Consortium. During the working meeting of the Consortium, the participants discussed the report for 2020 and adopted the plan for 2021, as well as approved the list of candidate universities for membership.

30 first-year students of NSUACE (Sibstrin) participated in an online trivia game in English

On the New Year’s Eve, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of NSUACE (Sibstrin) represented by Associate Professor A.A. Anikina and assistant N.V. Merkulova organized and conducted a trivia game called "Christmas Quiz" in an online format. "Christmas Quiz" is a team game for first-year students, consisting of contests and assignments on various topics in English that require well-coordinated work of the whole team. There were 7 teams formed out of 30 students of NSUACE (Sibstrin) and they were challenged with both fun and serious questions from different categories, many of which caused lively discussions. For 90 minutes, the participants recalled famous cartoons, puzzled over riddles, applied their professional knowledge in the field of architecture, construction and even sang songs! The international scientific and practical school in English “Environmental Issues of Architecture and Civil Engineering Spheres” was held at NSUACE (Sibstrin) with the participation of the University of Stuttgart (Germany).

In the period from November 23 to December 5, 2020, Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) organized and held the international scientific and practical school “Environmental Issues in Architecture and Civil Engineering Spheres” in English. The school was held in a remote format under the UNESCO Chair with the participation of the University of Stuttgart (Germany). The event was attended by students of Kazakhstan (master’s students from Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov), students from Russia (master’s students from Vladivostok of the Far Eastern Federal University), from Novosibirsk (master’s students of the UNESCO department, teachers and young scientists of NSUACE (Sibstrin)).

NGASU (Sibstrin) became a participant of the second Siberian-French Online Higher Education Salon

On September 22-23, 2020, the Second Siberian-French Online Higher Education Salon was held with the support of the French Embassy in Russia. The event was co-organized by Novosibirsk and Tomsk State Universities, Alliance Francaise - Novosibirsk, and Campus-France. Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil engineering (Sibstrin) hosted the International Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Modern Technologies of Teaching Foreign Languages and Russian as Foreign Languages”

On January 22, 2020, Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil engineering (Sibstrin) hosted the International Scientific and Methodological Seminar “Modern Technologies of Teaching Foreign Languages and Russian as Foreign Languages”. Not only students, but also teachers are fond of studying. The faculty members of the Department of Foreign Languages, the Department of Russian Language, and instructors of special subjects who will conduct their lectures in English gathered at NSUACE (Sibstrin) to discuss their professional problems, share methods, technologies, and best practices of foreign languages teaching. The International Scientific and Methodological Seminar was held jointly with Pavlodar State University named after S. Toraigyrov (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan). The philologists from NSTU (Novosibirsk State Technical University) and RANEPA (The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration) were also invited.

On January 20, 2020, with the support of the cultural center "SIBERIA-HOKKAIDO", a meeting with the president of the design and construction company "Issunbo" (Sapporo, Japan) Kamiyama Tetsumasa was held at the UNESCO Chair of NSUACE (Sibstrin).

NSUACE (Sibstrin) was represented by Director of the Institute of Construction, Gudkov Vladimir Alekseyevich, Director of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning, Alexei Gudkov, professor of the Department of Technology and Organization of Construction Molodin Vladimir Viktorovich, Director of the Center of International Projects, Lytkina Evgenia Vladimirovna. On December 4-5, 2019 the delegation of Shenzhen University (PRC) visited NSUACE (Sibstrin). The goal of the visit was to discuss the prospects of cooperation in the field of education, science and technology. The Chinese delegation included: the President of the University, Professor Qingquan Li, the Deputy Dean of the College of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Professor Mao Rui, the Deputy Dean of the College of Civil and Transport Engineering, Associate Professor Liang Zou, the Deputy Dean of the College for International Exchange Wei Gu, the Head of the Department of Urban Informatics, Architecture and Urban Planning College, Professor Yang Yue, the Head of the Department of Management Sciences, College management, Professor Niu Ben, the Deputy Dean of Medical School, Professor Xu Xingzhi. The visit was held thank to the long-time partner of NSUACE (Sibstrin), Milan Konecny, the head of the laboratory of geoinformatics and cartography of Masaryk University (Czech Republic).
