NSUACE (SIBSTRIN) and universities of the republic of Belarus have made agreements on cooperation in the field of education and scince

On June 17, 2021, Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin) and the two largest universities of the Republic of Belarus - Brest State Technical University and Belarusian State Technological University – made cooperation agreements. The documents were signed as part of the fifth meeting of the Business Council for Cooperation between the Government of Novosibirsk Region of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Belarus, which was held with the participation of A.A. Travnikov, the Governor of Novosibirsk Region and Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Republican Union of Consumer Societies, V.N. Ivanov.

The agreements were signed by the heads of the universities: Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yu.L. Skolubovich, Rector of BrSTU A.G. Bakhanovich and Rector of BSTU I.V. Voitov. The parties intend to conduct joint scientific research, exchange experience in the educational and innovative fields, and increase the academic mobility of teachers and students.

Within the framework of the visit of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus to Novosibirsk region, working meetings of Rector of the NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yu.L. Skolubovich with Rector of Brest State Technical University A.G. Bakhanovich, Belarusian State Technological University I.V. Voitov and Belarusian-Russian University M.E. Lustenkov were held. During the negotiations prospective areas of cooperation were discussed: joint projects in the field of education, BIM technologies, ecology, international activity, advanced training of personnel for construction and housing and utility services. The representatives of BSTU, in particular, are interested in cooperation in the field of new construction materials and technologies, water supply and water treatment, information technologies.

Summing up, Rector of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Yu.L. Skolubovich has emphasized that now there is a unique opportunity to use significant opportunity for cooperation between the two countries as a resource for the development of relations between universities.

After the meetings, the guests were given tours of the university, during the tour they got acquainted with the plan for the infrastructure development of NSUACE (Sibstrin) and the 3-D model of the construction technology park, the modern laboratory of the international department of UNESCO named after A.F. Poryadin, a sports and recreation complex, a new student reading room and a co-working center.

It should be noted that NSUACE (Sibstrin) has been developing cooperation with the universities of the Republic of Belarus for more than a year. For example, since 2013, the Department of Engineering and Computer Graphics together with the Belarusian State Technological University has been holding an international scientific and practical conference “Innovative Technologies in Engineering Graphics. Problems and Prospects”. NSUACE (Sibstrin) has also concluded cooperation agreements with the Belarusian National Technical University (Minsk), the Belarusian-Russian University (Mogilev) and the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
