Undergraduate and Graduate Students of NSUACE (Sibstrin) Took Part in the International School in the Republic of Korea

From the 18th to the 28th of April 2016 Incheon National University,  the Republic of Korea, hosted the International School, which was attended by representatives of the department Water Supply and Sewerage of our University and the International UNESCO Chair on Theory and Technology of Environmental Safety in Water Resources Control. Professor Galina Ambrosova, a graduate student Evgeniy Matyushenko, undergraduate students Anastasia Kruglikova, Anna Tsyba, Svetlana Plotnikova and Konstantin Plotnikov were the members of our delegation.

The purpose of the visit to Korea was the international exchange of experience, as well as the development of international relations between the universities. Dean of the College of Urban Science of Incheon National University Professor E.C. Shin received and hosted the Sibstrin delegation.

Ten days of educational program of the school were very intense and included various seminars and lectures: "Wastewater Treatment Technologies", "Earthquake Damage in Nepal", "Urban Planning and Development", “Hydro Informatics”, “Climate Change Engineering” and others. Our delegation  also participated in field trip activities. They visited Incheon Green Environment Centre, Metropolitan Landfill Site, Shihva Tidal Power Plant, Seunggi Waste Water Treatment Plant.

The visit and communication with our Korean partners was very interesting, useful and informative.  All members of the delegation were granted certificates of participation in 2016 International School Educational Program held in Incheon National University
