Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin)
and Harbin Institute of Oil Outlined Prospects of Cooperation
On the 11th of December, 2015, the delegation from Harbin Institute of Petroleum (China) visited Sibstrin. The rector’s assistant, the dean of the economic faculty Fan Yan, the director of the international affairs office Chzhan Sun and the manager of the department of cooperation with Russia Tzya Minsu were on the delegation.
The representatives of Harbin Institute of Petroleum had a meeting with the vice-rector for academic affairs R.Sh. Mansurov, the vice-rector for science V.V. Degtyarev, the dean of the environmental engineering faculty N.V. Sineeva and the dean of the faculty of economics, management and humanitarian education L.V. Shehovtsova.
Within the framework of negotiations prospects of bilateral cooperation were outlined. Nowadays, under the conditions of deepening of Russian-Chinese relations, cooperation with Chinese educational establishments is of great current importance. Sibstrin is very interested in realization of its initiatives in this direction. In its turn, Harbin Institute of Petroleum is interested in language training of its instructors and students on the basis of Sibstrin and in inviting our lecturers, especially Russian language teachers, to the Institute.
The negotiations were crowned by signing the Agreement on cooperation by Rector NSUACE (Sibstrin) Professor Yu.L. Skolubovich and Fan Yan.
The guests had an excursion around the University building and had a meeting with Chinese students studying in Sibstrin. This meeting provoked great interest of the foreign guests, as they wanted to get first-hand information about training programs, terms of education, conditions of accommodation, attitude to Chinese students in Novosibirsk. Members of the delegation were impressed by the fact how much their young compatriots are satisfied with their training in NSUACE (Sibstrin).
